Our mission is founded on the values of care, empathy, respect and dedication without discrimination in class status, and religion. We aim that all eligible Lebanese males and females to be up-to-date with CRC screening.

Brand Awareness Ambassador

We at S.A.I.D. N.G.O. are glad to announce the addition of a Brand Awareness Ambassador to help and support the NGO. Mr Mosbah Al Khatib will be our volunteer ambassador to the outside world in highlighting our mission to raise awareness about offering free screening for colorectal cancer.

Mr. AlKhatib’s enthusiastic personality, established regional and international network topped with business expertise in various sectors of the medical device and healthcare industry will be instrumental to our cause.

He will represent and support the NGO locally and internationally, highlighting the current achievements in the 3 pillars of our mission: including awareness, advocacy and support that S.A.I.D N.G.O. offer to the beneficiaries. Such initiatives will help potential donors to get involved in fundraising activities, donations, sponsorships, and guide to facilitate access to grants covering equipment and tests for colon cancer screenings.

What is Colorectal Cancer?

Colorectal cancer, or colon cancer, occurs in the colon or rectum. As the graphic below shows, the colon is part of the large intestine or large bowel. The rectum is the passageway that connects the colon to the anus.

About us

The SAID NGO carries out diverse educational events throughout the year to increase the awareness about colorectal cancer in Lebanon and to inform the public about the importance of early screening. The ultimate goal is to augment the total number of men and women being screened in the absence of any symptom starting at the age of 50
